The stabilizer plays an important role in reducing chlorine loss to the sun. An ideal level of 30-40 ppm should be aimed for. Stabilizer boosts level when low. This is the traditional very slow dissolving product. It can be applied through the skimmer to be trapped by the filter and slowly dissolves. Ideal with any outdoor pool that uses chlorine as a sanitizer. This includes salt pools.
