Passionate about illustration since a young age, Jean-Michel Tixier learned drawing as an autodidact. He illustrated his friends' record covers for the Record Makers label before attracting the attention of major brands and the press. His irreverent universe is inspired by French, Belgian and Dutch characters. Jean-Michel Tixier without hesitation adopts their "clear line" drawing style, which is defined by the precision of its line, the strength of its colors and the diversity of its characters. His work has already won over the prestigious New York Times, Vanity Fair, Hermès, Kenzo... Jean-Michel Tixier has collaborated with M, the weekly magazine Le Monde.
