TA, a fluid design that is directly inspired by natural ergonomics.
Some objects retain their form, almost unchanged, over time and design, but can interpret and refine their archetype. This is the case with everyday objects, used so often that their shape becomes obvious: a fork, a plate, a chair. The shape reflects the use to which it is put and its aesthetics can never be compromised.
TA by TOOU Design, the monosyllabic sound, as simple as a child's first word, in Chinese, means both he or she, exactly the same thing, human identity regardless of gender, universal. A chair is, in fact, a human object, shaped according to its use. She draws the profile of the body, eating or working at the table. It allows a resting position, halfway between the waking state and sleep, moments of waiting or conviviality.
With TA, TOOU wants to offer an elegantly simple response to the demand for ergonomics and aesthetics. Its design is inspired by the style of the 50s but with a touch of absolute contemporaneity, that of an honest and democratic design, made possible by an advanced but relatively simple construction technique.
The range of colors offered reflects contemporary taste.
