For use with a sand filter only. Clarifying tabs are lozenges formulated to dissolve in the skimmer, releasing a clarifying agent that settles on top of the sand in a filter, dramatically increasing its ability to trap wastes that make water cloudy. Very easy to use, simply place in the skimmer basket. Ideal to help filtration in general after a backwash or in problem solving when the water becomes cloudy after an anti-algae treatment, a pollen mass or other problem.
